Hi, I was wondering if you might be able to answer a question for me. I recently purchased 2 used hand painted nightstands. The tops are a bittle “bubbly” in a few areas and show some uneveness on the surface. It was explained to me that it was probably from not using a coaster and the water from the glass caused the damage. With the painted pieces of furniture that are out today, the surface is probably some sort of partical board, but i am wondering if I would ever be able to “smooth” it out by sanding and repainting the top or should i just leave it alone and just cover it with a decorative table cover? If it is more work than it is worth, (stripping, sanding,matching paint, finish, etc..) i will just live with it! Thanks so much for your response! I love all of your “transfocreations”!
