I will be starting on a new client project very soon. It will be a big one! Kitchen cabinets, china hutch and table with 8 seats! The color we decided on is Annie Sloan Chateau Grey.  I am very excited about this so the research begins…

This looks a lot like my clients china cabinet.

congratulations to Ashley and Brad who are due in a couple of weeks with their first baby 🙂 I had the pleasure of refinishing their nursery furniture. Here is the dresser before and after pics. I also found a side table that matched really well and re-finished it to match the dresser.

Ok, so awhile ago I bought this incredible bed and I was going to keep it for a “custom re-finish”. Then I was talking to one of my clients and she had a bed posted on her pinterest page and when I saw it I immediately thought of this bed that I already had! Oh how I love thee

I’m asked this question every year around this time. “What do you want for your birthday?” Sometimes I know what I want and sometimes It takes me awhile to come up with something. Even though I will be turning 33 25 my mom still knows how to make my birthday fun and special. So I was asked this year “what do you want for your birthday?” and do you know what I said…

A Carpet Cleaning Machine

I know … Just a little lame right? Well yes. This was exactly my thought yesterday. Actually I woke up thinking to myself “why in the world did you ask for a carpet cleaning machine for your 33 25th birthday?” So I quickly called my mom and told her that I had a lapse in judgement and I have changed my mind. She was relieved. I mean who really wants to buy a carpet cleaning machine for someones birthday?!  So I put some thought into what I want and came up with a few things.

I got this really cool vintage mailbox sorter from Craigslist a couple of weeks ago. My awesome mom got it for me since it was listed in Fountain Hills. She had no idea how big this piece was and she was a little surprised. I told her that was half the fun :). Anywho, I’m not to sure what exactly to do with it. I’ve been searching the great wide web for some ideas and I did come up with a few.

I like this idea. Storage + cuteness = cool functionality
